I want to ask what is the formula for the force of friction of an inclined plane?

The force of friction is proportional to the normal force exerted on the plane and opposes the motion of the object.

Force of friction, if the object is sliding, is
mu times the Surface Normal Force (surface compression, perp. to velocity)

If the object is NOT sliding, Friction is strong enough to cancel out
the other Forces along the surface, up to a maximum of mu times F_N .
