Boundary Layer Effect

  • Jeropiga
The boundary layer effect describes the influence of the layer of fluid in direct contact with the object in fluid dynamics. In this layer, the effects of viscosity are important and noticeable.

As a practical case of the effects of the boundary layer was chosen the dynamics of dolphins.
Nice video,
but it's not He-3 which becomes superfluid at 2K but He-4. He-3 gets superfluid at a much lower temperature of 2.5 mK.
