Hi Guys. This is more chemistry than physics but maybe you can help.
I am having a hard time find out what (salt) will appear as a product, in an acid-carbonate reaction.
Example from my textbook: HC2 H3 O2 + K2 CO3 --> CO2 + H20 + (salt)
We know that it will always give Carbon Dioxide and...
I have seen some problems like this that have to do with Kinetic Energy.
Ek=1/2mv² so if you have any of the values for this, u can isolate for v like this:
v=√2(Ek)/m
OR.. If u can only work with potential energy you could use this equation
v=√2g▲h
▲h will be the change in...
Well, from what i understand from Newton's third law is, any force will have a counter force of the same magnitude in the opposite direction. So, if u add both, it would be zero.. however, i am not sure that is what they are asking..
Homework Statement
Three questions in all. I am unable to find out HOW to get the answer with my textbook.
1. An insulator has a positive electric charge of 2.4 x 10^-17 C. How many electrons were added or removed? (^-17 means to the power of negative 17). The answer is 150 electrons removed...
