Exploring CPU Design: Major, Salary, & More

I am interested in CPU design as well as computer hardware design. However, I could find very little information on CPU design. I was wondering what the best major would be, the salary, and any other information regarding this topic. Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

David Blaine - 17 min breath hold

I strongly doubt that he legitimately held his breath for over 17 minutes. Navy Seals cannot come close to 17 minutes and they have incredibly rigorous training. Maybe he used something like perfluorodecalin. (look for images and you can find a mouse breathing in the liquid) Honestly, 17...

    Determine Color of Solutions: Co(NO3)2, KMnO4, Na2Cr2O7, ZnCl2

I apologize, but I don't have a list. Although when zinc is in the compound, it is often colorless. Try searching the compounds on google. Wikipedia would also provide information and pictures of the compounds.

if 2^n-1 is prime prove that n is prime

If n is not limited to natural numbers then I showed that if 2^n-1 is prime, n is not necessarily prime. I also showed that if n was limited to natural numbers and 2^n-1 is prime, then n would indeed have to be prime.

if 2^n-1 is prime prove that n is prime

I think you mean: if n^n-1 is prime where n is a whole, natural number prove that n is prime. Otherwise you can do: 2^n-1=3 (as 3 is a prime number number) (n-1)ln2=ln3 n-1=(ln3)/(ln2) n=2.58496... Thus n is not necessarily a prime number. If n has to be a whole, natural...

How to avoid errors when changing a hydrate to anhydride?

After heating the hydrate to drive off the water, it is possible that the anhydrous would pick up water vapor from the air. Also, there could be material (various dust particles, fingerprints, etc) on the crucible after heating it which would cause mass differences (depending on the precision of...
