It's 102°F here. I've never seen it stay so hot for so long.
Tomorrow it's forecast to be 106°F and Friday 104°F. Next week should be down in the 80's.
No new gray hairs. Just wanted to give an update on my daughter's flying, etc.
I emailed my daughter to see how she was doing and this is part of her reply:
Actual temperature. However it's dropped to 102°F now.
It's going to be hot for a while.

I don't remember what the temperature was then, but I'm sure it was cooler than today. The temp is now 103°F and is forecast to be this hot all this week and next week.
Been a while since I posted in this thread. Here are three photos of my daughter and all the folks in her department where they are all Certified Flight Instructors (CFI) now:
Also, she has began teaching now. I'm so proud of her.
I just learned that my electronics mentor Phil Anderson (who I worked with at Kantronics Inc.) has died at age 81. Here's his obituary:

@Greg Bernhardt
I've been getting a lot of connection timed out errors. Anything special going on at PF? Still using Windows 7. This is just satarted happening today.
I watched a PBS program today about the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster.
Which reminded me about an interview and job offer as a non-destructive test engineer from Morton Thiokol, Inc. I had before the disaster. I ended up taking a job from a different employer. Thank goodness.
My Pilot daughter is working on her CFI Certificate.

I just drove down my drive to the mailbox and there was a Box Turtle crossing the drive. I stopped and moved it off the road so other autos wouldn't run over it. They are considered endangered species around here.
