Why gyroboards are said to run so long on one battery charge...

My scooter powered by 24V 7AH battery, the (brushed) motor 250 W runs 4 mi. I have added more 7AH batteries (so 14AH now), so am having now 8 mi range. But how on earth anything powered 48V 4.4AH, the (even brushles) motor 700W could run 10 mi (let alone 13mi) ?

Why gyroboards are said to run so long on one battery charge...

Hello Ads say a gyroboard with the battery 48V 4.4AH, and the motor 700 Wt will run for 2 hours at the speed of 20km/h ! But - simple physics - will not the motor drawing about 10-15 Amp exhaust the battery in just some 20 minutes !? Do ads lie ?

    Potential difference and EMF

Emf, voltage, electric charge, potential (difference), seems to refer to the more or less the same form of energy. They fade doing work if the energy is not renewed.

    Battery function in a circuit

The charge "pushes" and keeps going the flow of electrons as soon as there appears a circuit between the poles, and the more is the charge, the more electrons get involved in this process, named "electric current". Electrons jump from the orbit of one atom to the orbit (the "hole") of a...

    Battery function in a circuit

Because pressurised water cannot carry much energy (being incompressible), but air can (compressible), I take as example the inflated ballon. But both water and air behave as fluids - as well as electrons. Emf is force (either in the generator, and in the battery) that forces electrons to move...

    Battery function in a circuit

Electric circuits and their elements , and units are sometimes compared to hydronic systems. EMF = pressure, capacitor = membrane, ampere = l/sec etc The pump that provide kinetic energy, would be better compared to an electric generator. The battery, a static energy accumulator, would be...

The difference of Back EMF waveform shape of BLDC and brushless PM generator

Being turned by an external force the BLDC will produce a sinusoidal wave form emf that will not be very suitable to power another BLDC. BLDC's get powered by simple alteration of the stator poles being something like positive-negative-neutral-etc. However (a viable) drive to produce that power...

The difference of Back EMF waveform shape of BLDC and brushless PM generator

I think so. Sinusoidal form of the voltage induced in the windings of the most power generators is the most natural form to occur there. Voltage induced, when one rotate permanent magnet motor, has the same form because, in principle, this motor is built like a power generator. DC permanent...

The difference of Back EMF waveform shape of BLDC and brushless PM generator

It is a mystery to me that it is possible to see the "back EMF" by someone.

    Motor Failure During Brownouts

The poles of the stator are pulling the poles of the rotor. Because of the Universal law tending everything to equilibrium, the both poles tend to be lined up against each other as fine, as possible (and as designed). During the "brownout" the reduced voltage causes reduced current, reduced...

Can a thermoelectric cooler be used as a thermoelectric generator?

Thermoelectric cooler is inefficient by itself. If a reverted action is possible, according to logics, the inefficient thermoel. cooler could be turned into an efficient electricity generator ?!

Can a thermoelectric cooler be used as a thermoelectric generator?

I am afraid the energy conversion is irreversible in the thermoelectric cooler. It is like as one cannot generate electricity by cooling a freon refrigerator.

    RCCB power supply help

There are RCBO's in only one out of seven 100A branches ? (in all others - RCCB's ?) At first I would checked for loose connections everywhere - up to the 2500A ACB.

    Question about motors please advise

Why you need it necessarily motorized if you lift the box 5 times and not 55 times a day? Look through the diy depots in your vicinity for what they offer - for lifting, such as hoists - and turn on your imagination.

Understanding nature of current in LC circuit

Such metaphor comes to my mind: a plate is being pressed by many point force from both sides alternatively. As soon as there appears a hole on one side of the plate there appears a bulge on the opposite side. Then application of the force changes direction and pressing the holes/bulges changes...

Understanding nature of current in LC circuit

But you must know that one pole of a magnet cannot be stronger or weaker than the other pole. As the magnet is unseparable so is capacitor. In LC circuit the electric field of the capacitor is turning into the magnetic field of the iductance and vice versa.
