    Nature of gravity

Can a PF Mentor please explain to me how a photon can create gravity / warp space-time?

    Nature of gravity

Does this mean photons with different energies have different trajectories through space around planets? How would you calculate this?

    Nature of gravity

Seriously.. Are the moderators all on vacation?

    Nature of gravity

I'm not sure. That's why I asked, but a good reference explaining how a photon (with 0 mass) can create gravity would be interesting.

    Nature of gravity

    Do you have a reference?

    Nature of gravity

Is this true? Light creates gravity?

60 minutes: Cold fusion is hot again

I really doubt this is the same one mentioned in the 60 minutes interview.. The company mentioned in the interview is out of Isreal.. [deleted] is registered to some crackpot/scammer in New Jersey. ... which is that new age garbage.

    What Exactly is Time?

Time perception is an interesting subject. Not sure if it ties into physics though... Quantum physics maybe?

How do you make a near-perfect vacuum?

How about.. How much (-) pressure would be required to completely evaccuate a volume of one liter?

    Reason for value of c

Because it was created to have that value, with 1 meter.

I know I'm not losing my mind

Here's a professor who claims to have some data on mass fluctuations. Not sure if this is what your are looking for, but here's the link: http://physics.fullerton.edu/Woodward.html [Broken]

    Orbital frequencies

Electrons don't move around and they just appear to be 'smeared' into the shape of a sphere around the nucleus?

    Orbital frequencies

How are the orbital frequencies of single atomic electrons, and covalent electrons determined?

    Question about mass

What is the relationship between a particle's mass and the magnitude of a specific field (electric or magnetic) within that particle?

    Why farther objects appears smaller?

open-mindedness, creativity, whichever you prefer.... Guess what comes before evidence? Thats, right... An idea! I may not be smart enough to crank out complex equations proving something might be possible, but I can suggest semi-logical concepts that don't hurt anyone. But if you...

    Why farther objects appears smaller?

Sorry I posted that link about the suppression of creativity in physics. I honestly didn't think that was "Linking to obviously "crank" or "crackpot" sites is prohibited." And you pretty much proved my point by deleting it, Thanks Doc Al.

    Why farther objects appears smaller?

That was just my guess, as I said. Feel free to stat some facts, or take a look at <crackpot link deleted>. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_illusion has some good information.

    Why farther objects appears smaller?

(random guess) As the photons from the moon "fly" over the earth, the earths gravity pulls more photons to the earth's surface, and to your eyes .. making the object appear bigger.

    Why farther objects appears smaller?

My guess is: Because your eyes can only absorb so many photons. The closer you are to the object the more photons from the object will hit the rods in your eyes, making the object appear bigger.
