1. ### Fnet Question!

The reason I ask this is because I thought when adding Fnet up you add up all the forces. ALSO: i was trying to calculate acceleration so is this why you only add up the horizontal forces?
2. ### Fnet Question!

I went to ask my teacher for extra help and we were doing a problem about an object sliding down a ramp. When I calculated the Fnet I added all the forces together acting on the box but she said that you only take into account the horizontal forces. Any clarification would be much appreciated!
3. ### Easy question!Quick!

For example: A 95 kg clock initially a trest on a horizontal floor requires a 650N horizontal force to set it in motion. After the clock is in motion, a horitzontal force of 560N keeps it moving with a constant speed. Find μ sub k and μ sub s between the clock and the floor. I said the μ...
4. ### Easy question!Quick!

Hi all, I just registered for this forum and I am excited to learn a lot! I am taking physics this year and I am enjoying it a lot although it is quite difficult for me. Quick question: how do I calculate μ sub s and μ sub k(formulas would be excellent)? Thanks!
