    Solve the system x+y=9, x^2 - y^2 = 36 for x and y

is that it? i did y^2-x^2=36 (x-y)(x+y)=36 (x-y)(8)=36 x-y=36/8 is any of that correct?

    Math puzzle.

    how did u get there?
  16. A

    Algebraic Fraction

ummm nar... this is what i can get to... {(3x+3)(2x-2)/(2x+3)(3x+2)} + {(3x+2)(x-2)/(3x-2)(x-2)} and the answer is... {2(9x^2+4)}/(3x-2)(3x+2) i just don't know how to get there haha
