I don't know enough about QM and GR to say if they can be replaced or not, however I do think that everything can put in a much easier way (although Einstein did a very nice job on GR), so maybe they can't be replaced but just "re-defined".

if x^-1 = 1/x it would mean the same for a function, so f^-1 would be the same as 1/f

At absolute zero all atoms and molecules will completely stop moving, but these atoms/molecules have a mass. Photons and waves however don't have a mass and will do what they normally would do...

as long as I can remember according to the theoretical physicist we live in a 5 dimesional universe. Although I'm not sure on this, anyone else who can back this up?

I asked one of my (female) friends if this is true and she said that in her experience this is indeed true. I know one person isn't enough so maybe others could give theire opinion on this.
