Hi, so I am a pizza delivery driver and have to carry a pen and clip board so people can sign credit card slips. Is there a way I can sterilize them between customers so I'm not spreading colds and flus around?

So theoretically one could heat a metal to a gas, ioniz it then use it to coat a surface with a thin layer of metal?

Ok so I have an odd question. I have been trying outs Zink plating instead of copper to see how it behaves and so far it is plating to my graphite rod but it is a dull grey color. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Hum well it sounds like some thing I can build but I don't think it's wise to to build it on my kitchen table, so I will have to wait till later to try it.

At the moment I don't have any of the normal tools to measure current and the like, but current was flowing. I know that because the LED I hooked up in one of the lead wires lit up. that's not much current but it is something.

Well the paper didn't melt but the graphite didn't pick up any metal. Just to make sure that my set up was working I attached a an inch long piece of pencil lead and it is covered in copper. It's quite an irregular plating but it's working. Any idea why the paper didn't plate?

I don't know why but I thought it would be far more complicated then that.

How did you apply the graphite?

That sounds pretty cool, but it might be a tad bit out of my budget to build such a device.

I think the most difficult part will be finding a way to keep the paper from dissolving away. Most of the time you have to use an acid when electroplating right?

Because it would be cool to be able to do it. I'm thinking of trying an art project, not something that normally interests me but it's a Monday and I'm bored.

I am looking for a way to electroplate paper without disintegrating the paper. Is there a conductive "paint" that I can use? And is there some way to preserve the paper?

I guess my question boils down to this. If nothing can travel faster then light from a given point, then what happens if 2 objects are traveling near the speed of light away from each other? won't they be traveling faster then the speed of light relative to one another? Am I just thinking about...

it is plugged into a green PCI-E, I also tried plugging it into the yellow PCI-E it still did not work. I have not tried running it without ram yet and sadly there is no onboard video.

Wow thanks for the advice. The mod manager I used was the nexus mod manager, the mod I problems with was the morrowind overhaul. I think to problem stemmed from having an iso and not the disk, anyway after it faild to install properly I removed the mod with the manager which should have fixed...
