A Uncertainty vs Randomness in Quantum Physics

I agree totally with you, but the article in Quanta Magazine gives another picture of randomness and uncertainty. But I am a little bit sceptical about the statement that the the randomness and uncertainty are different in Quantum Physics then in other areas... If they are different why we are...

A Uncertainty vs Randomness in Quantum Physics

My question is more regarding use of randomness vs uncertainty. Are they same in Quantum Mechanics? They are different in other areas...

I Collision of Milky Way and Andromeda....?

Dear sus, thank you very much! I catch the point and it is clear to me!

I Collision of Milky Way and Andromeda....?

Dear Dave, (as gently as possible!) I am fully aware about the way how these two guys tried to answer my question. Have no doubt about that! But I am not sure how you determine that "this forum's philosophy is that of tutelage"? Even it is the philosophy, it is wrong! I asked the question and...

I Collision of Milky Way and Andromeda....?

Dear Janus: THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I appreciate very much your excellent, considerable and wise explanation! I wish you excellent night/day!

I Collision of Milky Way and Andromeda....?

I have got some answers on my question and I can agree that the problem could be "my inference", but you still did not provide arguments why my inference is wrong. You enter the discussion regarding my question with another question (?)... What does it mean? Sorry, but you are not helping at all...

I Collision of Milky Way and Andromeda....?

By your responds I can infer that expansion of univese apply only on clusters, but inside the clusters, in the future, the galaxies will collide due to gravitational attraction... Hmmm... It does not look so scientific... :-( Regarding Vanadium 50's respond, I can say that expansion of the...

I Collision of Milky Way and Andromeda....?

I do not understand how (in few bilion years) Milky Way and Andromeda will collide? If the universe is expanding and these objects which are far away have bigger speeds than those who are closer, than Milky Way and Andromeda will just be far away every moment... (?) Could someone help? :-)

Piezoelectric effect -- How long does a stressed crystal produce a DC voltage?

I put 10 minutes as example and I was expecting numerical answer, let's say: No, 10 minutes is to much, but in 20 seconds the charges will disappear... :-) Unfortunatelly, no one privide such a type of answer. Anyway, the responses (which I have received) give me a confidence that my idea would...

Piezoelectric effect -- How long does a stressed crystal produce a DC voltage?

I am asking because I am investigating use of piezoelectric sensor... I would like to know will the generated voltage exist enough time to measure it by voltmeter...

Piezoelectric effect -- How long does a stressed crystal produce a DC voltage?

PD...? Could you please explain what is this...? Anyway, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! This information is very important to me! :-)

Piezoelectric effect -- How long does a stressed crystal produce a DC voltage?

I need help regarding piezolectric effect... If I add DC voltage to piezoelectric crystal it will change its dimension (length) and vice versa: if I put pressure on piezoelectric crystal it willl produce DC voltage on its surfaces... But I am wondering how long this voltage will last? If I keep...

    A Lyapunov coefficient for function f(x) = 1/(1+x)

May I use function f(x) = 1/(1+x) to investigate chaos? I am trying to understand chaos using this function, but things are not going as I expected... Could you please advice me how I can calculate Lyapunov coefficient for this function?
