Question:
An ore contains 19.6% of the mineral stibnite, Sb2S3, which is a source of the element Sb. how much ore must be processed in order to obtain 47.0kg of Sb?
My Work:
(47000g Sb)((153.825g Sb2S3/ 2 (121.76 g Sb)) (100g ore/19.6g Sb2S3)
which equals...
ok so this may sound really dumb but i need to refresh my memory on this so here is the question
6.941+63.996+35.45 = 106.387
how do i know how many sig figs to round too with this?

Calculate the potential difference that would have to be maintained across the plates of a parallel plate apparatus, if the plates were 1.2cm spat, to create an elecric field strength of 1.5x10^4 N/C.
i have no idea how to do this! someone please help
Electric, Gravitatinal, and magnetic!
which two of the three types of field discussed in this lesson were most similar> provide supporting evidence.
there are electric, gravitational and magnetic..
im guessing its electric and magnetic.. but I am not sure!
could you help me with this!

Acceleration with Fe2+ ion and Fe3+ ion help!
A sample of two different iron ions, Fe^2+ and Fe^3+, are accelerated by the same potential and sent through the uniform magnetic field of a mass spectrometer.
a)Which ions moves faster after being accelerated. Justify with relevant equations...
describe how an electric bell operates (HINT: the make break contact dose not move; the hammer, however, moves bath and forth very quickly as it rings the bell)
my solution
An electric bell is a mechanical bell that functions by means of an electromagnet. When an electric current is...
Copy the table and determine keepers third law constant ku for Uranus using the data for the first floor moons

The mass of the moon is 7.35x10^22 kg. At some point between Earth and the Moon, the force of Earth's gravitational attraction on an object is canceled by the Moon's force of gravitational attraction. If the distance between the Earth and the moon (center to center) is...
An archer shoots an arrow straight up into the air with an initial velocity of 45 m/s [U]. Calculate the maximum height of the arrow.
The equation I would use for this is:
Vf^2 = Vo^2+2as
where:
Vf is final velocity
Vo is initial velocity
a is acceleration (gravity)
s is displacement
plug in...
In an accident investigation police measured the skidmarks left my vehicle. they measure the skidmarks to be 150 m from the point where the driver applied the brakes to where the car came to rest. In their investigation the police Sumat the driver was traveling at this bead limit of 80 km/h...
Yes so my initial speed v is 0m/s as when it starts at intial hieght at 0.48m it is not moving. I need to find out the speed when it moves to the other side and need that hieght I determine if it obeys the law or not.
So v is 0 for the first hieght. The starting hieght at 0.48m r 48cm .. Because it is not moving.
I need to know what v is for the final so I can determine te hieght. So how do I find v when I have calculate the J for E mechancal. As posted above in previouse post
As you probably can see I can not really grasp the concept. Could you please explain the change in magnetic flux and what is happening .. Is it because he force of the conductor is acting upon it causing It to change ?? Or could you reword what I mean into the proper way?
The mass of the pendulum bob was determined on an electronic scale and its diamter was measured using calipers. The initial height was measured with a meter stick. At the lowest point of its swing, the pendulum bob broke a photogate light beam. The time interval that the light was interrupted...
Ok lenzes law states
An induced electromotive force (emf) always gives rise to a current whose magnetic field opposes the original change in magnetic flux.
So it was going up and out of page?0
