Homework Help: 1st order ODE

    Having some trouble. Im not sure what d_t(u) and :u(with the . above it) means. Would appreciate some help. Thanks

    He is just telling you that du/dt and dtu and udot all mean the same thing. Use whichever notation floats your boat.
