In summary: This was the first computer that I used, and it had a 8-bit Intel 8080A processor. I used to love playing the Star Trek game on that screen.

I used to "surf the net" in 1989 on one of these:

I didn't realize this was just the French Minitel technology that they were hoping Americans would warm up to. Anyway, I happened to be in one of their test markets (Houston) when these first came out.

Not as good as some of yours (I love Janus' entry!), but I first used one of these bad boys back in 1989. I just love the row of red F keys across the top, a true 1980s design classic.

If you thought that was funny, http://oldcomputers.net/ads/80s/atari.jpg was my first. It eventually died and I replaced it with an 800XL, which I still have.
