It's very expensive, but there is absolutely no better skill to learn than flying. If you can afford it, the fun and freedom it provides are unparalleled. It's also quite practical if you have to travel a lot. Which would be better—sit around in an airport for hours going through luggage checks and security, or hop into a nice Cessna and go at your convenience?
