A theoretical situation

  1. Jan 30, 2010 #1
Alright, I don't know anything about the basic properties of electricity. But I'm hoping you can help me figure out this funny little situation here, so...

You're standing in a room with an electrified floor. The shock isn't enough to kill you, but it's zapping your feet. You're wearing a metal suit, but it's not touching the electrified floor. My question is: Will the metal surrounding your body cause you to be cooked, cause more damage, or just not do anything at all?

Nothing would happen. The feet cannot be zapped by a floor like that. The metal harness will generally do more good than harm.Maybe someone will elaborate... but you really got the main concepts of electricity wrong.
