Advanced trig equations

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    solve for x given "0* </= x < 360*"

    I know that the answer is 60*, 150*, 240*, 330*, however I don't know how to start the problem. The way we have learned is to factor down, and once I get it into (x + y)(x+y)=0 I know how to solve, but I am having trouble getting to that point.

    Substitute y = cot(x). What type of equation do you have?
