An insect question

    Do all insects come from eggs? Are any the result of chemical reactions alone?

    All insect are born from eggs but not all eggs require fertilization by sperm.
    Parthenogenesis may occurs in some species such as the bees. The male drones, or worker bees, reproduce solely through parthenogenesis
