does nuclear engineering use more analytical or physical chemistry. which one is is more based off of aplicatitons and technology. Overall what are differences between them?

Analytical chemists are interested in quantitative measurements of chemical species in complicated mixtures. Physical chemists are interested in understanding chemical behavior using physical principles.

I think it would depend upon what kind of nuclear engineering you would be doing, but I suspect that the practicality of analytical chemistry would be more similar to the other things that you would be studying.
