Angular Velocity problem

  1. Oct 16, 2006 #1
just hoping to get this double checked:

    10. A grindstone spinning at the rate of 8.3 rev/s has what approximate angular speed?

    a. 3.2 rad/s

    b. 26 rad/s

    c. 52 rad/s

    d. 81 rad/s

    answer: C, I simply did ; 2*π*8.3 rad/s = 52.1 rad/s. is this correct?

    2 x 3.14 x 8.3 = 52.124
    52 rad/s
    i think so
