Testing Any ideas ?

    Hi, it's my first time to post here so don't ignore me

    I'm supposed to prepare for a contest in June 2018 a scientific (mathematical or physical) project about a topic which is "Milieux: interactions, interfaces, homogeneity, ruptures". The project is a research related to the topic cited above and it has to contain a problem(an idea), an analysis, a development and a conclusion.
    The problem is that I'm still studying the mathematical means which I may use in the project which makes me uncapable to begin the project but also uncapable to even think about it.
    That's why I'm asking for an idea of a scientific problem that can be developed and resolved not easily but neither very hardly.
