I have applied for this year's Astronomy Olympiad to be held on 28th November, 2010. I am 17 and study in my 12th grade.

Now, I have just bought a Physics Olympiad book. Now, the problem is that I only have 9 days to prepare myself for the exam. Can anyone suggest on how should I go on to study for the Olympiad?

I know I can do it in 9 days, but can you help me by giving me some tips or a time-table for studying? Thanks

I would say don't bother with ASTRONOMY olympiads. Focus on Mathematical ones.

Congratulations on your decision to participate in the Astronomy Olympiad! It is a great opportunity to showcase your knowledge and skills in the field of astronomy.

As a scientist, my advice would be to focus on the fundamentals of astronomy and physics. Start by familiarizing yourself with the basic concepts and theories, as well as the equations and formulas commonly used in these subjects. It may also be helpful to review any notes or materials from your previous classes or courses in physics and astronomy.

Since you only have 9 days to prepare, I would suggest creating a study schedule that allows you to cover all the important topics and also leave some time for practice questions and mock tests. This will help you identify any areas that need more attention and give you a sense of the format and difficulty level of the exam.

Additionally, make use of online resources such as practice quizzes, videos, and study guides to supplement your learning. You can also reach out to your teachers or peers for any clarification or assistance with difficult concepts.

Lastly, make sure to take breaks and get enough rest during your studying period. It is important to not overwork yourself and maintain a healthy balance between studying and self-care.

I am confident that with your dedication and hard work, you will be able to do well in the Astronomy Olympiad. Good luck!
