In summary, the "Red Centre" in Australia refers to the central region of the country, characterized by its red soil and arid landscape. The soil is red due to high iron oxide content and the climate is hot and dry with low annual rainfall. It is home to unique species of plants and animals that have adapted to the harsh environment and popular attractions such as Uluru, Kata Tjuta, and Kings Canyon.

This region's history is told in the stories of Australia's indigenous, Aboriginal people
It was wonderful learning some of these stories as we were tour guided around the region

cheers
