Homework Help: Average velocity in g's

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    A car traveling at 85km/h strikes a tree. the front end of the car comoresses and the driver comes to rest after travelling 0.8m.

    2. Relevant equations

    a) What was the average acceleration of the driver during the collision?
    b) Express the answer in terms of g's ; where 1.00g = 9.8m/s?
