Beam element in ansys

  1. Feb 5, 2012 #1
    hi everybody
being here is very good for me. i am grateful for your help in advance.
my question is about using beam element in ansys.
How i can make an beam element that behave like the force-displacement nonlinear curves that extract from experimental tests. in other word how can i define the material properties for this single beam element to it behave like these curves.
I should note that i have 3 curves. the first one show the torsion against axial rotation angle. the second one show the transverse deflection against transverse force and the third one show the axial load against axial deflection.
    Sincerely
    Mustafa
