Do you have any suggestions on great, reliable, informative science/physics/biology magazines for laymen? I really enjoy learning about developments in these fields. I see suggestions thrown around such as the Scientific American, however, I'm reading that it isn't what it used to be before, is that true? Any suggestions are welcome!

Online there Quanta magazine.

Subscription wise there's New Scientist and Nature.

With respect to a scientific American they had to tone down the technical science a bit to grow their subscription base rather like National Geographic did.
