Beyond the standard model

  1. Apr 15, 2007 #1
To know what lies beyond would serve us how ?

That is to say if everyone is working towards a common goal, in what ways will the knowledge gained serve to benefit mankind ?

In the same way that possibly Einstein was the genius for the 20th century and revolutionised spacetime thought leading to a quantum mechanics revolution in electronics and computing.

Are we only one genius for the 21st century away from cracking the 'free' energy riddle of 'zero point' and is that not the ultimate goal of all those working/studying in physics ?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum to be asking such questions. If so, maybe move it to where it might elicit appropriate responses.
