Kristina Giesel talk Thursday
On Thursday 7 September Kristina Giesel gives a seminar talk on topic TBA.
I was in a rush earlier and screwed up. I confused Kristina Giesel with someone else and wrote the wrong first name.
Now I have to start at square one with this.
All I know about K. Giesel is her collaboration with TT on a halfdozen papers
http://arxiv.org/find/gr-qc/1/au:+Giesel_K/0/1/0/all/0/1
1. gr-qc/0607101 [abs, ps, pdf, other] :
Title: Algebraic Quantum Gravity (AQG) III. Semiclassical Perturbation Theory
Authors: K. Giesel, T. Thiemann
Subj-class: General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology; Mathematical Physics
2. gr-qc/0607100 [abs, ps, pdf, other] :
Title: Algebraic Quantum Gravity (AQG) II. Semiclassical Analysis
Authors: K. Giesel, T. Thiemann
Subj-class: General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology; Mathematical Physics
3. gr-qc/0607099 [abs, ps, pdf, other] :
Title: Algebraic Quantum Gravity (AQG) I. Conceptual Setup
Authors: K. Giesel, T. Thiemann
Subj-class: General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology; Mathematical Physics
4. gr-qc/0507037 [abs, ps, pdf, other] :
Title: Consistency Check on Volume and Triad Operator Quantisation in Loop Quantum Gravity II
Authors: Kristina Giesel, Thomas Thiemann
Comments: 67 pages, 6 figures, 36 pages paper, 31 pages appendix
5. gr-qc/0507036 [abs, ps, pdf, other] :
Title: Consistency Check on Volume and Triad Operator Quantisation in Loop Quantum Gravity I
Authors: Kristina Giesel, Thomas Thiemann
Comments: 21 pages, 5 figures
so I guess the upcoming seminar talk at Perimeter is part of the ongoing
Thiemannssaga. A heroic or semiheroic story like the Icelandic Gislasaga (which has parts where one feels a bit faint).
Actually the old story is a pretty good one. We'll see how the modern story turns out.
