Bifurcation diagrams

  1. Jul 23, 2007 #1
    hey i'm a noob so bear with...

    i was just wondering is their a way to plot the Bifurcation diagram from the Xnext function onto a standard axis graph program such as HP50g or TI89 calculator, or for the "autograph" program / similar.

    Xnext = rx(1-x)

    is it just a case of fiddliling with the axis or is it something fundemental that i missed?

    all criisism accepted and feel free to tell me which section this post should go in as i wasn't that confident. (couldnt see a dynamics/chaotics/analysis) section..
