Bourbakist approach to writing textbooks

  1. Mar 23, 2005 #1
After much much reading, I have come to the conclusion that the Bourbakist approach to writing textbooks is only useful for Algebra and Analysis, not for things like Dynamical Systems and Differential Geometry/Topology. Does anybody want to agree or disagree?

I have only read the algebra books. they are wonderful., hard to believe a subject can be explained so clearly and succintly.

If it works for algebra it'll certainly work for topology.

Why wouldn't it work for differential geometry?
