Brazilian Model's Story: Life Too Short for 20-Year-Old

In summary, a 20 year old Brazilian model had her life drastically changed due to a rare blood infection. Doctors were forced to amputate her hands, feet, two kidneys, and part of her stomach, giving her only 24 hours to live. This came just under a month after she was diagnosed with kidney stones and sent home. Unfortunately, she was unable to recover and her hands and feet were amputated. It is a tragic reminder of how precious and fragile life can be.

I saw a tv show within the past few weeks of a woman that had gone to the emergency room and was diagnosed with kidney stones and sent home, and within a week was in the hospital, in a coma, and woke up to find that her hands and feet had been amputated,

Really terrible.
