Calc Help!

  1. Oct 20, 2004 #1
    F is a function

    F = (x^a)(y^b)(z^c)

    x + y + z = 100

    The problem? Maximize F : solve for x, y and z in terms of a, b, and c

    Someone said something about gradients, so...

    Assuming that's correct... but where do I go from there?
