Homework Help: Calculating e3?

  1. Mar 16, 2012 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    I approached this by doing the node equation of e3:

    (e3-(-V)-e2)G1 + (e3-e2)G2 + I = 0

    2. Relevant equations
    which gives:

    e3/3 + 5/3 + e3/5 + 3 = 0

    multiply out the fractions

    5e3 + 25 + 3e3 + 45 = 0

    3. The attempt at a solution

    so:

    8e3 = -70

    giving e3 = -8.75

    Approached what? There's no problem statement.
