The teacher asked some questions about some calculations for finding efficient requirements for designing a energy storage system for plug-in hybrid car. I have not any expertise about this topic, so can you help me about the solving and finding a efficient and best solution for this question.(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

The requirements are;

Test cycle range: 140 miles

Test cycle energy: 270Wh/mile at the output of the energy storage system

Traction inverter(s) supply: 500-600VDC

Continuous power: 50kW

10 second power: 400kW

30 second power: 150kW

Design life: 10 years minimum

I do not know how i can calculate with the help of some equations for finding efficient energy storage system, so if anyone knows, can you help me for finding efficient ESS for plug-in electric vehicle.

If anyone helps me, i will be proud.
