    calculation of glomerular filtration pressure??

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

Which of the equations below describes the calculation of glomerular filtration pressure (BC = Bowman's capsule and GC = glomerular capillary; $ = the Greek character "pi")?

    1: (PGC + $BC) - (PBC + $GC)
    2: (PBC + $BC) - (PGC + $GC)
    3: (PGC + $GC) - (PBC + $BC)
    4: (PGC + PBC) - ($GC + $BC)
    5: (PBC + $GC) - (PGC + $BC)

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution

My lecture notes did not mentioned anything about this... I think it is one of the questions that is out of my syllabus... Would like to know the answer anyway.. Can anybody help?? :)

    Thanks
