Capacitors

    What happens when negative plate of a charged capacitor is connected to positive plate of another charged capacitor and vice versa. ?

    Current flows in the circuit until the voltages of the capacitors become equal. The direction of this current is determined by the voltages across the capacitors.

    First the charges get neutralised, then the remaining ones get distributed to each capacitor according to their capacitances.
