CD question

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    Currently cd players use laser light in the red portion of the spectrum. What changes would be required in the manufactering of cds if blue laser light were to be used?

    3. The attempt at a solution
    Well I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the wavelengths, but I have no idea what the actual answer is! Help please?

    now you need to look up how cds work, and how a cd is made :wink:
