Homework Help: Centroid of composite area

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    3. The attempt at a solution
    my working is
    (6.43x10^-3)(310+10) + (11x10^-3)(155) / (6.43x10^-3 +11x10^-3 ) = 215.8 , but the ans is 112 , what's wrong with my working ?

    All of the Y-bars are measured from the top of the structure. So the position of the vertical I is 10.2+155
