So I'm a sophomore planning on changing my major from a health care major to Mechanical Engineering. I just want to get someone else's input that's already in the field. I just have a few questions to make sure I am making the right career choice. Of course I am going to meet with my advisor at school, but they don't know everything. But heres a few quick questions: How is the long-term job security? What's the job market like down south? In know Texas has NASA and all the Major oil/gas companies. Is there anything you would warn me about, anything you would change if you could? Thank you for your input!
