I love this song. I was just listening to it again on the radio.

    The Chimney Song

    Lyrics

    The Chimney Song

There's something stuck up in the chimney
And I don't know what it is,
But it's been there all night long.
Well, I waited up for Santa all Christmas night
But he never came and it don't seem right.
And there's something in the chimney
And it doesn't make a sound,
But I wish you Merry Christmas.

There's something stuck up in the chimney
And I don't know what it is,
But it's been there all week long.
Well, the dog keeps barking up the chimney flue
And we don't know what we're going to do.
Cause there's something in the chimney
    And it doesn't move around,
And it's been a week since Christmas.

There's something stuck up in the chimney
And I don't know what it is,
But it's been there all month long.
Well, it's jammed up tight above the fireplace
Now the house smells funny, such a big disgrace.
That there's something in the chimney
And it doesn't talk at all,
And it's been there since last Christmas.

There's something stuck up in the chimney
And I don't know what it is,
But it's been there all year long.
I'll been waiting up for Santa like I did last year
But my brother says, "He's already here."
And he's stuck up in the chimney
And he doesn't say a word
And he'll be there every Christmas.
And we'll have him every Christmas.

Does "It's Christmas at Ground Zero" (by Weird Al) count as a classic yet? (I'm not sure if it's all right to link to)

    Along those same lines....

This one is an odd song, but I like it a lot. It's an ant-war song where the singer pines for his love waiting in the nuclear fall-out zone:

In the wonderful crooning style...it's Mel Torme and Judy Garland singing one of my faves.

Judy Garland gets the words wrong at least twice...!

The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York is pretty new, but it must already be considered a classic:

Even though I'm not a big ukelele fan, that was very nice.

    I just love Christmas music!

Leroy Anderson's "Christmas Festival" is the last word in Christmas carols. This year I'm having trouble finding a good performance, though -- here's the best I could find.

I love Claymation and Christmas Claymation is my favorite, I have the DVD.

When the girls were little these were two of their favorites. The is The Raisins singing "Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer". They had a popular 1950's song out at the time where they sang "Bah, bah, bah", so the Spawn of Evo called the Raisins the "Bah Bahs". Ok, that's only cute to me. :uhh:

So, here are the Bah Bahs singing "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer".

Another favorite is "We Three Kings" as sung by the Claymation Camels, known to Spawn as the "Campbells".
