Engineering Civil to mechanical, RSA

    I'm currently in second year in Civil I wanna do mech now but I'll have to start from 2nd year. That a good idea?

    I would think that 1st and 2nd year courses of study in a civil or mechanical engineering program would be quite similar , like physics, chem, calc, statics, dynamics, circuits, fluids, strength of materials, and CADD, but I guess times have changed; perhaps you could take a couple of required courses during the summer rather than repeat an entire 2nd year if you wanted to switch. Check with your advisor.
