Out of curiosity, what does this means ?

Closing, since this is not really philosophy. Take care and good luck to you.

1. You are so XXXX-up that you don't deserve a thread.
2. Take whatever medication was assigned to you.
3. You are boring.
4. Closing is the answer! Walk with:devil: me.

Certainly, a possibility. Although I seen several mainstream "philosophers" whose view of the world is certainly wilder by a factor X than the view of the innocent who sought an answer in that thread,

What are the guidelines of posting in philosophy forums anyway ?

Are Nietzsche's or Rousseau's ramblings any better than the ramblings of an unknown commoner who took too much (or too less ) of certain pharmaceutical substances ?
If yes, why ?

Fair question o:)

1. What is the purpose of "closing" in scientific research?

The purpose of closing in scientific research is to summarize the findings and conclusions of the study. It is also used to discuss the implications of the results and provide recommendations for future research.

2. How do you determine when it is appropriate to close a scientific study?

Closing a scientific study is appropriate when all the research questions have been answered, the data has been analyzed, and the conclusions have been drawn. It is also important to ensure that the study has been conducted in an ethical and accurate manner.

3. What is the difference between closing a study and publishing the results?

Closing a study refers to the final stage of research where the results are summarized and conclusions are drawn. Publishing the results refers to the process of sharing the findings with the scientific community through a journal article or conference presentation.

4. Can a study be closed without reaching a definitive conclusion?

Yes, a study can be closed without reaching a definitive conclusion. This may happen if the data is inconclusive or if the study was not able to answer the research questions. In such cases, it is important to discuss the limitations of the study and suggest areas for further research.

5. Is it necessary to close a study even if the results are not significant?

Yes, it is still important to close a study even if the results are not significant. By closing the study, the researcher can provide a clear summary of the findings and discuss the potential reasons for the lack of significance. This can also help guide future research on the topic.
