Not sure if this is the right section for this but, does anyone here know much about the CPM (college preparatory mathematics) program? My school is beginning to implement it and am wondering if the program has any merits. Thanks.

    Re: Cpm?

College preparatory Mathematics courses are Introductory or Elementary Algebra (Algebra 1), Geometry, Intermediate Algebra (Algebra 2), a Mathematical Analysis course which contains mostly a review of Algebra with some extra topics AND Trigonometry; and some schools may have one more Math course of beginning Calculus or some of the fundamentals of first semester material of college Calculus.

Do you have any opinions regarding whether or not the curriculum (CPM) adequately prepares students for university level mathematics?
