Colours of some mercuric compounds

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    While reading my text book I found that ##Hg(NH_2)Cl.Hg## was given of black colour , whereas ##Hg(NH_2)Cl## of white colour.So is this correct?

    2. Relevant equations
    None

    3. The attempt at a solution
    I googled about ##Hg(NH_2)Cl## . It is ##white ## in colour . But I am not sure about ##Hg(NH_2)Cl.Hg##.

    Some mercury compounds are gray because of the presence of metallic mercury, perhaps thats this kind of situation.
