Homework Help: Complex confusion?

  1. Dec 16, 2008 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

Express 2/i in the form a + bi.

    2. Relevant equations

    3. The attempt at a solution

The book says -2i. What am I missing here? I don't see what they are using. All I get is 2i^-1.

    Is i^-1 something that I don't know?
