Homework Help: Compute sum of a power series

    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
    Explicitly compute the function g defined by:
    g(x) = [itex]\Sigma[/itex]n2x2n from n=1 to infinity


    I was thinking something along the lines of differentiating[itex]\Sigma[/itex] x2n twice
