Which of the following statements are correct/incorrect?
1) The velocity is zero at point 4.
2) At point 6 the velocity is negative.
3) At point 3 the velocity is positive.
4) At points 1 and 7 the velocities are about the same.
5) At point 8 the object is farther from the origin than at any other numbered point.
6) At points 3 and 5 the object is the same distance from the origin.
7) At points 1 and 3 the object is on the positive side of the origin.

2. Relevant equations
Velocity is the SLOPE of the position-time graph.

3. The attempt at a solution
Tried 2-3 times but some of mine answers are wrong
Herez mine:
1 Incorrect
2 Incorrect
3 Incorrect
4 correct

Maybe you can describe your thinking on 4) ? Not necessarily saying it's wrong, just want to know how you arrived at it.

OK I looked again. And 6 looks like they may be at the same distance though not the same displacement, one being + and the other -.

I thought it was wrong last night and then forgot when I came back later.
