Corn Processing - Wet milling

  1. Jun 1, 2009 #1
I am doing a project on the wet milling process for processing corn into CSL, oil, protein, fibre and starch. It seems that there are a lot of big wet milling plants out there, but I am struggling to find detailed information about the process.

Is there any one that can reccomend some literature? I am particularly interested in the corn steeps and the CSL evaporator.

Does any one know the test to check for germ breakage in a corn wet milling plant?
If so please let me know the details.
