    Well it is sort of being a tea leaf, but i am all for free stuff that some money
    magnet looses out on.

    Oh crud! I had heard that they were working something out with advertisers.

    I believe that YouTube was trying to work things out with copyright holders and content providers. And there are lots of those. Some may have reached agreement, while others may still in negotiation, and some may not be interested. This only has to do with copyrighted, or otherwise protected, material.
